About StartUp Bahrain

Launched 2013 as a national ecosystem initiative

StartUp Bahrain is a national community initiative for innovative startups and scaleups in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Powered by the Labour Fund, Tamkeen, it provides resources, fundraising support, perks, and networking events to help businesses launch and grow. It connects entrepreneurs with investors, talent, and strategic partners to drive the local ecosystem.

Mission

To unite the Bahraini startup ecosystem and make it easy for entrepreneurs to find the support, capital and networks they need.

Purpose

The organisation exists to position Bahrain as a launchpad for startups to scale across the Middle East. It aims to accelerate national innovation by tackling the challenges of scale and connecting businesses with critical funding, talent, and partnerships.
